The 13 christmas desserts - Les 13 desserts

Hi eveyone!

Do you know the 13 christmas desserts that we have in Provence? It is a tradition. Each dessert has a meaning, it represent  Jesus or one of his apostles (12+1=13). 

Each year we are inviting some of our family and/or friends to share the 13 desserts with us.

The card you can see is this year invitation:

Connaissez vous les 13 desserts de Noël? C'est une tradition provençale. Chaque dessert représente soit Jésus soit un de ses apôtres (12+1=13).
Chaque année, nous invitons des membres de notre famille et/ou des amis à venir partager ces desserts.
Voici la carte d'invitation que les invités recevront:

I must say that there are a trick for the front frame:

I did glue a rectangle of metalic paper, a little bit bigger than the frame,  on a double side adhesive paper. Then I use the frame die in the machine with this paper.
The frame is not cut completly and that should be like that. I did peel the top of the metallic paper between the arabesques (the part that is usually cut by the die). Like that the "peeled part" is domed between the arabesques and the look is great.

Then I did glue the frame on transparent paper and cut at 0,5cm on the right , bottom and left of the frame. I did let 2cm over the frame. I fold the transparent paper at 0,5cm over the frame and glue the part after the folding line at the back of the kraft paper. Then I glued the kraft paper on a metallic rectangle a little bit bigger than the kraft paper.

I did use the label die( a must have) to write my invivation and decorate with the wine bottle.

Il y a une astuce pour le devant de la carte:
J'ai tout d'abord collé un rectangle de papier métallique sur la feuille de colle double face. Ensuite j'ai utilisé le die cadre et j'ai passé le tout dans la machine. D'habitude ça découpe, là non pas tout à fait. Et c'est exactement ce qu'on veut. J'ai ensuite "peler" le papier métallique qui se trouvait entre les arabesques ( les parties qui sont d'habitude découpées). Le résultat fait que la partie "pelée" apparait bombée entre les arabesques et le rendu est vraiment bien!

J'ai ensuite collé ce cadre sur une feuille transparente. J'ai redécoupé à 0,5cm tout autour sauf au dessus du cadre où j'ai laissé 2cm. J'ai ensuite marqué le pli à 0,5cm du cadre en haut. La partie restante à été collée au dos du rectangle de papier kraft. Le papier kraft a été à son tour collé sur du papier métallique un chouia plus grand que le papier kraft.

Enfin, j'ai utilisé le die étiquette (un must à avoir absolument) pour écrire l'invitation et j'ai décoré avec le die bouteille dans le seau.
