4 Days of Christmas...

Hi everyone!

Today I am showing you a sewing project! Surprising isn't it? It's another way to use Joy!Crafts products.

First I needed a pillow for my armchair. But i wanted something on the pillow, a landscape or something else. I choose the building die from Joy!crafts.

For the fabric, I choose linen and to give a touch of colors i use ribbons that are the same colors than the carpet.

Ajourd'hui, je vous propose un projet couture! Et oui, ça change un peu. C'est une autre façon d'utiliser les produit Joy!Crafts. Vous aurez besoin de lin, de canevas, des dies maisons et de rubbans.

To do a pillow it is easy: Pour faire un coussin:

* Cut 2 rectangles in the linen: 60x30cm

Coupez 2 rectangles dans le lin de 60x30cm

* Die cut 4 buildings in the white canvas: to have a nice cut, replace the plate C  (on the Trouvaille!)by a metallic plate.

Coupez les 4 maisons dans le canevas. Pour une découpe plus nette, utilisez une plaque métalique à la place de la plaque C de la Trouvaille!

* Glue and iron the buildings

Collez et repassez les maisons.

* Decorate the landscape with ribbons:  I used the fabric glue from Joy!crafts to put at the rigth position the ribbons. Then I did sew it to secure. Other possibility: You can stamp (with a fabric ink) a sentence or else.

Décorez les scénettes avec des rubans. Je les ai collé pour faciliter le motif. Une fois sec, cousez pour sécurisez les motifs.

* Attach face to face the 2 rectangles of linen and add a ribbons between the rectangles. The ribbon mus be half in hafl out.

Épinglez face contre face les 2 rectangles et intercalez un ruban entre les 2. Le ruban doit ^étre à moitié dehors et à moitié dedans.

* Do the same for the other sides of the pillow. For the last side, leave an openning. 

Faites la même chose pour les autres coté en laissant une ouverture pour le dernier.

* Put the pillow on the right side. Stuff the pillow and close the opening.

Mettre le coussin à l'endroit.Remplir le coussin et refermer l'ouverture.
